I was thinking a couple of days ago that I haven't written a post in a while so it is about time I changed that, so grab a cuppa and a biscuit and let me tell you about Claire.

Most of us have had some form of toxic relationship in the past, that person we took a chance with even though our friends told us otherwise. This particular relationship is why I believe that karma will always have a way of bringing order back into our lives.

This is the story of one of the most memorable things to happen to me during a breakup, to this day I still can’t see a post-it without getting slightly worried.

Back in 2013 I was on a diet. I used to have these weeks where I would declare I would only eat healthy foods, starting the week on a salad and ending with a KFC bargain bucket.

We all like to be spontaneous; there is no better feeling that being surprised with a special gift, or maybe a box of your favourite chocolates. Not all surprise are good though, sometimes you can end up in a different country on a Sunday afternoon without any way of getting back for work on Monday morning.

This story will stay with me for the rest of my life. A first date where she let the cat out of the bag. Quite literally
