Always have faith in Karma

Most of us have had some form of toxic relationship in the past, that person we took a chance with even though our friends told us otherwise. This particular relationship is why I believe that karma will always have a way of bringing order back into our lives.

A while ago I went through a phase where I decided my life had become a bit stall and that some changes needed to be made to shake things up a bit. I moved house, changed job and even got a couple of new hobbies, of which magic was one of them. As a result I found myself reconnecting with old friends as well as meeting lots of new wonderful people.

Now a couple of months into my new lifestyle I met up with Imogen. A couple of drinks (and card tricks) later and we hit it off. However some of my friends were concerned that she wasn’t right for me, and knowing what I know now, I can see why. Oh hindsight what a wonderful thing eh? I thanked them at the time and told them there was nothing to worry about. Oh how wrong I was.

You see this is the part where I am a fool, I was blinded by love some would say and this lead me to be taken advantage of, it meant i lost a few friends along the way. Eventually she cheated on me and it lead into a pretty messy breakup.

As the weeks when by I was scrolling through Facebook and I noticed she was having some horrible luck lately. She has dropped her phone in the sea, her house was infested with spiders and even her trip to Sweden was canceled. I thought nothing of it at the time but then I mentioned it to my friends and they all said the same thing to me… It's Karma.

I did really start to think about it and it is very simple really, Do good things and good things will happen. In my life, I have always treated people how I want to be treated, been loyal to my friends not just to my need for them and i've always tried to help someone when I can.

If there is anything I took away from this experience it is that Karma will always bring balance back into your life, so if you ever feel like life is being a bit unfair, just remember to have a bit of faith because chances are, they will get what they deserve in the end,
